I had this same battery for the past 3 years on my 6 year old phone. When the old one didn't hold enough charge, I just ordered the exact same replacement. Its been working flawlessly since I installed this new battery.
bought this a few days ago, installed the battery (ER-P511) last night so it could get a full charge, and nothing, does not hold a charge at all. I never return anything, but I have to return this, hope they dont give me any problems, I have been saying good things about Amazon. bought for a KX-TG2730 Cordless phone. Put the old battery back in and phone works fine, but of course the old NiCad battery GE 86400 is quick to lose the charge. I will post a update on any problems.UPDATE, I returned the battery and received a refund with no problems, not sure why the battery did not work for me. This update is being written well after the return was finished, today's date 7/30/09.
I have used similar battary for more than a year and it is very long lasting. It doesnot have any memory effect like NiCd battery so lasts very long in every charge. I am very happy with this battery.
Price is attractive, battery is excellent. BUT shipping charge is per battery. If you only need one battery, fine, but when the shipping charge at checkout is needlessly excessive, it tells me to Never buy from this seller -- and to take the time to do this write up.
I replaced the batteries with these Lithium Ion replacements (old ones were NICAD) and all the connection problems disappeared. I replaced the batteries twice in my phones previously. The new batteries lasted a while but still intermittently dropped the connection. The batteries life has increased quite a bit with the stronger battery (more amperage). I'm extremely satisfied with these batteries.
